Nicki French - Don't Play That Song Again (Klyk's Fun Mix 2009)

Nicki French - Don't Play That Song Again
Remixed from the original version for Song For Europe 2000
Nicki gave a great performance on the show that night but with all the tactical voting at the time only managed 16th position for the UK. What a tragedy coz' this song is so very very catchy and what eurovision is all about.
Anyway I hope you enjoy my interpretation of it.

Susan Boyle - Wild Horses (Klyk's NRG Remix)

Here is a new remix just finished yesterday, I am very proud of my results on this one. I love this lady, and I hope she has a great success with her new CD out November.
I have totally given the track a make-over, starting with the vocals from the original recording, I used Music Morpher to filter out the instrumentation, and then built a complete hi-nrg backing track over them. Various FX were used to create the sound I wanted for this dance floor stomper, and at 136.5 bpm should have you sweating at the end. LOL
Anyway hope you enjoy the track.

Three Degrees - Dirty ol' Man (Klyk's Disco 2009 Remix)
From the early 70's a great Philly song getting a disco treatment from me.
I've taken this mix from the original extended version to add some breaks and vocal parts not in the Single version.
Also I have added a new instrumental part towards the end just to build up the last chorus.
Enjoy and leave comments please.

Amr Diab - Ella Habiby (Klyk's Private Mix)
My latest remix has been inspired by my recent trip to Egypt. Amr Diab is the biggest star there and his music has crossed some boundaries from just being Egyptian or Arabic music.
Read on:
Amr Abdel Basset Abdel Azeez Diab (Arabic:) (born October 11, 1961) is an Egyptian
singer and composer of jeel music; the contemporary face of Egyptian al-jeel pop
music, according to World Music, and the most popular singer in the Middle East. Diab
is the best-selling Arab recording artist of all time, according to Let's Go Egypt. He
was awarded the World Music Award for Best Selling Middle Eastern Artist three times:
1998, 2002 and 2007.

Amr Diab is known as the Father of Mediterranean Music. He has created his own style
which is often termed "Mediterranean Music" or "Mediterranean Sound", a blend of
Western and Arabic rhythms.
In The Mediterranean in Music, David Cooper and Kevin Dawe referred to his music as
"the new breed of Mediterranean music".
According to author Michael Frishkopf, Amr Diab has produced a new concept of
Mediterranean music, especially in his international hit, "Nour El Ain".
In his analysis of The Very Best of Amr Diab album, Victor W. Valdivia of Allmusic
said: "His music melded traditional Arabic sounds and textures with Western rhythms
and instruments. The mesh was dubbed Mediterranean music, and The Very Best of Amr
Diab displays Diab's superb skill in creating it."
According to the BBC, Diab "has ruled the Arab music world, especially Egypt and the
Middle East, since the mid '80s, continually breaking sales records".

EBTG - Missing (Klyk's 2009 Ultimixes)
Here's a mix I have wanted to try for a while now. Well, I finally got around to making it and here it is. Based on a downloaded acapella, I have totally reworked it giving it a Hi-nrg feel, whilst keeping a few of the original elements that makes it the great song that it is.
I have included a vocal version and the instrumental mix, if you feel like trying your hand at an extended version.
