Donna Summer - Maybe It's Over (Klyk's New Mix)

Newest remix from me is this gorgeous ballad from the 1980's. Taken from the 'Cats Without Claws' Album produced by Michael Omartian.

I decided not to make this a dance remix as I thought it would lose it's feel too much, as it is a lovely ballad in it's own right.

I only needed to add a couple of new instrumental parts and some extra beats and bass, along with a re-edit to extend it a little it now clocks in at 6.45 Mins.

Hope you enjoy, it is also a request from Gus so here it is.

Donna Summer - Love Is Just A Breath Away 2009

Here is the latest Donna Remix track completed by myself tonight.

It's from the Quincy Jones produced album from 1982 simply titled 'Donna Summer'

There are some real magic moments on this album, such as Mystery Of Love, Tokyo (Which I already posted my mix here), Lush Life & If It Hurts Just A Little, to name a few.

This particular track always screamed for a remix of some kind, to give it a more steady beat to dance to. I loved it in it's original form but never heard it played in clubs back in those days.

So here it is now for 2009, hope you like it.

Taken from the 'Bad Girls' CD it has always been one of my favourite tracks from that album.

I tried to create two different styles here, one is more orchestrated than the other which has a more Nrg feel.

Taken from the 'Bad Girls' album, this track is one of my favourite, quirky vocals from Donna.

I have taken the original album version, speeded it up a couple of beats and added some sound effects and much more percussion and drum sounds. I think it livens the track up more.
